Windows 7 Startup Error

Hi Im Harry,
I Recently Installed My Version Of Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit And I Start Up My Dell Optiplex 170L And The Starting Animation Loads Up Saying Starting Windows But Then It Never Loads It Will Stay On The Screen, I Can Hear The Startup Sound Then If I Type My User Password It Logs In But Its Still Forze On The Animation, I Have Tried Safe Mode But It Load Until The Last One And Freezes.

If You Can Help Me Please Post

I am assuming that this is a Laptop that you have the issue with ?

If so have you tried Doing a simple repair from the Windows 7 boot CD?

How to create repair disk.

Start up repair. Will need to run this up to 3 times for it to work.

NOTE: Sometimes it may take running a startup repair a few (3) times before it fully fixes the startup issue.

This disk will not work for Repair installation (you need a full disk like you broke) but will do normal repairs and act as Boot disk.

That will work if you have the Sytem Reserve which should be there from installation.

Go Step-1 then to Step3. Then select Repair my computer and follow any prompts.

The prompts that will show should look similar to Step 5 and 6 here. Select Start Up Repair.

I'm out of ideas.
If you know someone that has the exact version disk you have Win7 32bit Ultimate you can use their disk to repair install and enter your Product Key when that window comes up during installation or after installation.
Your just using their Disk registry to fix your installation.

Someone else may come up with some ideas for you.

I'll see if I can get you some additional help.

Option Two. You will need to use someone elses PC and DVD burner.

You download the file and burn it to DVD. This will make a Recovery/Boot disk.

You can run the Repair boot/Start up from the disk.
It may or may not work.

Last thing I know besides a new or borrowed installation disk.

Hi Harry ! If it is not recovered still now as Mike have provieded some suggestions to you , I may say something .

First, Open your Cabinet case, remove the RAM(s), clean the edges of RAM/s with dry cotton clothes, reinsert the RAM(s) and start the machine . It may work now (if the problem is due to concentration of moisture or dust in RAM).

If still not, Download Windows 7 System Recovery Discs — The NeoSmart Files (the 32 bit one, as yours) [I am telling you to download it as you cannot start your machine up, and so cannot create a repair disk]. Boot in it , and run http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/681-startup-repair.html for three separate timer with restarts . You may also try http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105541-startup-repair-run-3-separate-times.html . Hopefully it will solve your problem .

When everything is fixed, and you can operate your machine nicely, have a http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/663-backup-complete-computer-create-image-backup.html as your first job . If Startup Repair, SFC /scannow and system restore all the options fail, it stands as a good way to get your installation back .

Okay So I Have Got 32-Bit Disk But I Cannot Reinstall To My Primary Hard Drive (Not Enough Space). But On The Other Hand I Do Have A 250 GB External And When I Try Install It Too My Hard Drive I Need The Drivers.

Its An Hitachi 250 gb

Quick Question Needs Answering

Im Trying To Reinstall Windows 7 On My Pc Since It Has Messed Up And Wont Start But I Dont Have Enough Memory If I Format The Hard Drive And Then Reinstall Windows 7 Will It Work Properly?

Memory or Hard Disk space? When I formatted and clean installed without any programs, it took 12Gb.

With 2Gb of RAM you should be OK.
