Well ... unless some others have a different solution for you ... it would seem your only other option is to reinstall Windows 7.

You can do a "Custom Install" that will save your current Windows to a folder, windows.old, that you can access to get your old files.

You can use the drive management utility, http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/52291-partition-hard-drive-windows-7-install.html , during the install to shrink the current Windows partition (volume) and install a second Windows 7 in the empty space and again have access to all your user profiles and files, to transfer them to your new working Windows.

Please let us know how we might help?

Cheers!

With Windows XP you could just use the install CD and reinstall XP and copy over the system files. Windows 7 does not allow for this. You can do a "Repair Install" but only if you are able to boot into windows. As you are not able to start Windows, this is not an option.

OR, cant i make a new boot file in C: using the command prompt? cant it be done?
Your boot partition (the 100MB "System Reserved" partition, if you have one) seems to be working correctly as it gives you the option to repair your computer when Windows does not startup correctly. So removing the boot partition and moving the boot code to the Windows partition is not going to change what is preventing Windows from starting.

Files do not become corrupted by them selves, there is always a cause. Something has broken the files Windows needs to start, and you cannot fix that if you can not start Windows. From the information provided so far, I can not determine the reason Windows will not start, so I can not tell you how to fix it. The simplest solution would seem to be to reinstall Windows in a way that allows you to save all your files.

Cheers!

Do you have the Install DVD or the "System Repair" CD? If so have you tried to do a "Restore Point" from the DVD or CD?

Cheers!

Without a translation, it would appear that you do not have any "Restore Points" or they are not accessible.

Another option would be if you had saved an image of your Windows? If you had that, you could restore it the same way you would do a restore point.

Cheers!

To use the Windows Backup you have to be able to start Windows. But if you have a saved "Backup Image" you can restore that the same way you would do the "Restore Point"

If you have saved a backup, yes, you can reinstall Windows and from inside Windows use the backup to restore your settings to when the backup was created.
