All of the sudden my computer is slow! I payed 1300 dollars for this!

Okay so first of all my cpu is not 100% but higher then it should be for running chrome. My physical memory is out of the roof! As i type it is at 96%!!!

The main process that are using my memory is SVCHOST. Now i know all about how it has several different services attached to it (I tried looking). And that ending the process crashes windows! How do i tell which one is using all that memory? the services attached to it are:

AudioEndpointBuilder
hidserv
HomeGroupListener
IPBusEnum
NetMan
PcaSvc
SysMain
TrkWks
UxSms
WdiSystemHost
WlanSvc
Wudfsvc

That list wasn't easy and quick to make so could you help me :D

Wow... it starts getting into 96% memory usage (not CPU) after 10 minutes. So i have to sit around with a worthless computer or is there nothing i can do?

Edit: My cpu usage is fine but my memory usage as out of wack. It is only giving me 32mb of ram!!!! And i have 4gb!

Well, hang on there... that may not be entirely true.

If you have "Superfetch" enabled W7 will try to fill memory predictively with stuff you might be likely to use... Yeah i know it sounds hokey as all git but for people who tend to run the same software over and over it can be a real performance booster.

The thing to understand is that although this memory has stuff in it, does not mean it is not available to you on the drop of a hat... because it is...

This is windows resource manager...

Anything in BLUE is readily available memory. If you note there are two shades of blue, one shows you empty, the other shows you "used but available". Note that I have 0mb free but 1542mb available... that's very normal.

So unless you're getting low resources errors, this is actually a non-issue.
