windows 7 system reboots automatically only when connected to internet

My laptop (Windows 7) reboots automatically as soon its connected to internet (both wireless and LAN). If its not connected to internet its stays fine.
Restart is within a minute from the time its connected to internet.
I tried disabling task scheduler, full system scan and it did not help.

Any suggestions please??

Is it just a random shutdown, no warnings? Also, is it a "regular" shutdown cycle? Where it simply follows the steps, shows the "shutting down" splash screen?
