Windows 7 Ulti-64-bit to Windows 8 CP 64-bit Upgrade fail

clean reboot with windows service
also try via using NVIDIA gpu and Intel's integrated gpu

also tried advanced_SC 5.X and tuneup utility 2012 for registry issue


but fails 2 times
and c:windowsanther: setuprr.log is empty

Personally, I'd suggest installing 8 on a separate partition rather than replacing 7. Windows 8 is still a test version and has not been finalized. If you're not happy with Windows 8, you can always boot into Windows 7, delete the Windows 8 partition, and continue using Windows 7 without having to go through another clean install of 7.

I already deploy my current windows 7 to 2 drives
and they are running well _with dual boot both are created by acronics true image 2012

now I have to upgrade 1 copy to windows 8 CP
and 2nd copy remains as windows 7 Ulti in dual boot

dude I already know those basic things of installation

this happens exactly when I get to the "Preparing Devices" part I get this error:
