Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 UEFI Installation with DVD DL

With programs I've used that require more than one SL DVD to create a "Complete Set" needing more than 1 DVD, they prompt for the inserting the next blank DVD, instruct how to label the "finished" DVD, and continue.

Maybe AddRAM or others can give better help, but that's what I've seen.
And, as I said "You may be the pioneer in what you are trying to do".

Another way to apply a custom installation is to capture it after install with a System image stored externally. If you SysPrep to move HD to another computer then it can be reimaged and start up on any hardware.

My image is created like that and it works in any type of computer, hardware.
I begin with a base image of windows then install updates, programs and use Sysprep to prepare.
In the end I capture the image and create the ISO.

My image has 8,3GB because of that. It has programs pré-installed in it.
That is the reason because I want do burnit to a DVD DL.

I want to distribute it do people that can choose to install it legacy ou UEFI.
But the problem is that only create the DVD DL to run in legacy or UEFI and I want the user to select one or another in the same DVD DL.

How did UEFI get merged with the Legacy .wim, or are they separate?

SIW2 could advise you on the technical requirements for merging those.

Then how are the two separate slipstreamed installer - one for UEFI and one for Legacy - merged into the same ISO, if at all? This would need to be known in order to achieve it.

If it can even be done, then SIW2 would know how.

You'd apply an image using the method given for the app which creates it:
Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup
System Image Recovery
Macrium - Image your system

The image is the same for legacy or UEFI.
The only thing that changes is the boot.

Thats what i supose.

I've contacted Microsoft in my country and I am not doing nothing ilegal.
For each installation, I am willing to do, I will activate Windows with legitim Keys, also other programs too.

I am not a pirate, I am an integer person.

Do you find it inconvenient to apply an image instead? This is how organizations normally apply an installation to multiple PC's.

It is normal to create a custom install.wim. Nothing strange or illegal about it. MS provides sysprep to help.

It is unusual to try using dl dvd, though.

Did you split the wim before putting on dl dvd?

You can see if that works better.

7Lite can split the image, I believe. If not Vlite does.

He will split it with more usual tools imagex, or something with a gui.
e.g.
imagex /split c:\original-install.wim c:\install.swm 2096

I've made some advance.
The problem is with the Double Layer one and two. Some files that are burned to second Layer are not being read by the UEFI boot.
I will make some more tests with the legacy and UEFI boot to see where the are stored in the layers.

I've done it!
DVD DL now boots in Legacy or UEFI modes.
Tested in VMWARE and on a laptop.
I will make more three installations on desktop to test it.
