squall leonhart,dump AVG, as of 8.5 it is bloatware which only serves to reduce the system performance entirely, regardless of capabilities, and AVG crashing due to utorrent isn't anything new.
Its causing some abnormal cache and memory thrashing for some reason when scanning data that changes within memory.
the annoying thing with that is its impossible to tell which stick is the culprit these days as the channel controllers intermix the ram addresses unlike with single channel controllers where the modules addresses accumulate.Bad RAM can crash at any moment, for no apparent reason. Right now, I am suffering from memory errors. I only get them when the last 2GB are being used, when I am running my virtual machines. Funny thing is, though, that even loaded to the max, it doesn't always crash.
Please supply the evidence to support your theory.
