Solved Windows 7 update error 0x800B0100 (KB2943357 & KB2973112)

Hi there

I'm not able to install 2 .NET framework updates and tried some different things without any luck.

OS: Win7 x64 SP1

This is what I tried so far:

sfc /scannow
NetFxRepairTool
How do I reset Windows Update components?
Fix Windows corruption errors by using the DISM or System Update Readiness tool fix
Also tried placing Windows6.1-KB2943357-x64.msu in %SYSTEMROOT%\CheckSUR\packages then executed SUR again, but still no luck though :(

I've removed that update and folder again and attached the newest CheckSUR logs

Hope you can help me, thanks!

I've uploaded a file - hseaa.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder hseaa in the same place.
Open this folder - there should be one folder inside it (Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder
C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

Okay, I followed your instructions and it fixed 26 out of 26 errors this time.
I assume I can try and update now?

Yep - do a check for Updates, and first try to install ONLY the oldest update found
If it goes OK, carry on
if it fails, post the C:\Windows\windowsupdate.log file
