Windows 7 update problems

Yes a complete new windows install - I don't want you to go and do all that if it causes you more headaches so it was just suggestion

I've been contemplating that but it will be a last resort.

I did a fresh download and install of the Updater.

Checking for updates now.

It's a shot in the dark
