Windows 7 USB Problem

Hi! I'm new here! I had problem with Windows 7 installation because it doesn't support USB 3.0, so I connected an old PS/2 mouse. And I was so happy that I finally installed Windows 7! But when I installed win7, it didn't have any driver in it. I couldn't even connect to internet because of USB 3.0. I think that the problem is that every USB that is connected to my PC is USB 3.0, So I have to install USB 3.0 drivers. I tried to install Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver but it didn't help ( I think I didn't installed it correctly ). So what do I have to do. I really want Windows 7, IDC about Windows 10.


CPU : i5 8600
Motherboard : MSI H310M Gaming Plus
GPU : Asus Phoenix GTX 1050 Ti
RAM : Kingston 2x4GB (DDR4)

from what I see that motherboard doesn't support win 7 only win 10. Support For H310M GAMING PLUS | Motherboard - The world leader in motherboard design | MSI Global
their should be 2 usb2 ports in front and 4 usb 2 ports in back

I would wait for someone else that's knows more on the issue. I personally would install win 10. I like win 7 a lot but after using win 10 and setting it up to look like win 7 win 10 is faster and less a resource hog in my opinion.

Instead of going through the usual installation routine, an alternative is to simply apply the W7 wim image to the target OS drive and boot up from the drive. This can be a separate disk, or, if a dual boot configuration is desired, another partition on your existing setup.

DISM++ is a simple GUI tool to perform such a task.

For that mobo you would probabaly need a pcie add on card for usb3.

Drivers for your cpu graphics: need driver for intel uhd620


If you post the Device ID for your network card, we can probably locate suitable drivers.
