Solved Windows 7 won't boot!! How do I get rid of vista?!

Ok so I have a 1TB WD, 2TB WD and just bought a 128GB OCZ SSD.

I have Vista installed on my 2TB WD.

I power down, install my SSD, boot to w7 disc, install wi7 on SSD, get into w7, works, great!

After I switch it off and on for the first time and change boot priority to OCZ, it won't boot w7! I change boot priority to my 2TB WD, it won't boot vista!

I unplug my SSD, it WILL boot vista!

I unplug my 2TB WD and plug in my SSD, it WON'T boot to w7 (or vista)!

I boot to disc but DON'T press any key to boot from disc and instead let the time run out and it brings me to a menu where I can choose if I want to boot w7 or vista, I choose w7 it WORKS and that's where I am now.

I want to get rid of vista. There is nothing on the vista hard drive that I need so I'm happy to format it but I'm just afraid it won't boot at all if I do that!

Can you boot to windows at all? If so you can get rid of the boot for Windows Vista through msconfig like in the screen shot except to switch it around and delete the vista instead and set windows 7 as default:

Yes I can boot to windows, I said that in my post, which makes me think you didn't read it, which makes me doubt your advice, anyone else?

If I do as seth suggests and remove the boot for vista via msconfig do you think it will stop the issue of not being able to boot the SSD with w7 unless I go through the disc and no select method?

Your boot files are on the 1TB WD, or 2TB WD.
The boot files need to be on the 128GB OCZ SSD.

Remove 1TB WD, or 2TB WD.
Your C: Drive should be Disk0. & first in BIOS & first Sata Port on the MOBO.

Sorry Mr. MzTearyus I did read it but wasn't sure that you had booted all the way in.

When Windows is booting OK, Reconnect the other two HD, as Disk1 & Disk2.

SUCCESS!!! Thank you both!!

So now I have only 2 minor issues:
-I still have to choose w7 or vista when I boot to the SSD (do I follow seth's instructions now to get rid of that?)
-I still have a system reserved partition on my old vista WD 2TB HDD, if I don't need anything from that drive anymore is it now safe to format the whole thing?

Why did you not Remove the 1TB WD, & 2TB WD drives.

I did remove the 1TB and 2TB drives, and then once all the repairs were done, plugged them back in?

Nonetheless I still have a choice of w7 or vista.

Yes you can go into msconfig and delete the Windows Vista entry in the boot tab of it.
