Solved Windows 7 won't recognize all my ram

I can't get windows 7 to recognize all my ram. I have 4 2gb sticks and all it says i have is 3gb in bios it says 2gb stick in all 4 slots.

Fresh diagnose shows one stick channel b dimm o at 0mb memory size, channel a dimm 1 at 1024mb and channel b dimm 1 at 0mb why doesn't it read right on windows but it reads it on the motherboard?

I don't think Pentium 4's had 64-bit systems. I believe yours is 32-bit which is why you only see 3 GB. That would be the normal usable amount that you should see from 4 GB.

theres the specs on my cpu it has intel 64 which allows it to run as a 64bit processor

i think your motherboards maximum supported ram is 4GB

Your motherboard can only support 4GB of RAM.

From your System Specs, you have 4 2GB RAM modules, your motherboard can only support 4GB RAM however.

If you want more RAM, then you will need to buy a new motherboard.

That is completely normal, the usable RAM will be 3.0 to 3.5; 3.5 with my system, due to hardware addressing and memory mapping.
