Windows 8 Faster, Smaller, and More Responsive than Win

I would like to see a true 64-bit OS. My Win7 64-bit has tons of 32-bit apps running. Microsoft app ones btw, because of plug-ins and codecs - you know what I am talking about. If "don't make any sense to compile XYZ app as 64-bit", then forget 64-bit was a step forward and let's get back using 16-bit apps.

Is your pattern to skip every other release? If so then you skipped over ME/2000 which messed up your pattern.

Which is unfortunate because 2000 is essentially XP with a minimal UI and extras stripped out. It was stable and reliable.

I've purchased every Microsoft OS since MS-DOS. Except Window 7, which I obtained from a TechNet subscription that was given to me as a gift. Pretty good gift, huh?

BTW, TechNet still has a download for MS-DOS.
