Windows Aero randomly crashing with no error messages.

So about a week ago, I was just playing a flash game when my screen appeared to freeze, upon unfreezing Windows Aero stopped working(the transparency on the task bar disappeared). There was no error, it just stopped working. After looking around my computer it told me that Aero wasn't supported, which did not make sense considering it was just supported.

So I did a system restore(it was made after a windows update) and it started working again. It worked fine for a few days and just today it did the exact same thing. Of course, I resolved this issue with a system restore as previously, but I would like to find out what the problem is exactly to fix it, since my current solution is just going to be an annoyance.

Any help would be appreciated. I did search prior to making this and could not find a topic similar to this or any with a solution. Thanks a lot a head of time!

Don`t just keep doing a system restore, reinstall your drivers. I know it sounds crazy but it just may fix the problem.

Here`s the link for your card.

This may be because of a lack of memory, next time it happens search for aero troubleshooter in your start menu and tell me what it says.

Alright will do sir.

I actually did this twice, but I guess another try won't hurt.

also next time try typing services into windows start button search, select the result with the cog, in the services window that opens scroll down to desktop window manager session manager
double click it to open its properties and make sure it is set to automatic.
then in the main service window on the left click either stop the service then restart it or if it is stopped then click start.

actually i would check now to make sure it is set to automatic.
