windows can not connect to device or resource.

Hi, I am new to this forum.
following is my connection status.
hardware :
i5 processor, intel motherboard, 4gb ram + 1gb nvidia graphic card pc.
win 7 32 bit.
dlink adsl 2+ router GLB 502T [ I am using this with BSNL broadband as in wired.]
edimax 802.11b/g wireless router [ I want to connect my laptop & mobile to access n sync with desk.]

here I have connected.
wire from ISP to line socket of dlink
Lan socket pc to lan socket of edimax
wan socket of edimax to lan port of dlink

dlink has only one lan port for lan card of pc. As per diagram I have connected provided by edimax. [ I have used this connection before.. using wifi. but do not remember the settings now. ]

now when ever I try to connect windows shows multiple networks and when i trouble shoot it .. it shows communication to device / resource is not possible. or some thing like that.

can you guys please help me out on this ??

mean while i am able to use network as lan but not able to share internet connection with this settings . do i need wireless card extra to set this up. but as per my prev. connection has worked .. i dont think it needs. i want to have one wired desktop and just one wireless connection for my laptop .. thats it .. is any thing going wrong.. plz help guys !!!
