Windows could not complete the installation , boot loop

Hi ,

I used the acer erecovery on my friends laptop , selecting the restore windows and retain user files option.
Once the process had been completed , the computer restarted and a message saying "Windows could not complete the installation. To install windows on this computer , restart the installation".
I do not have a recovery cd , and this message keeps coming up every time I restart the laptop.

Any suggestions?

Try it again and this time enter Device manager during install to uninstall any Devices in error, so install will complete then you can update drivers from desktop: Device Manager - Access During Windows 7 Installation

If this fails you'll need to order Recov Disks from Acer, or use a Win7 installation DVD to boot to get a superior clean install with the Product Key on COA sticker: Clean Reinstall Windows 7 Factory OEM
