Hello Everyone,

I Have been on my PC for a few hours today and i got a windows message saying 'windows detected a hard disk problem'.

Do I need to replace my hard disk right away? or is there anyway that can fix this problem? I'm using windows 7 64bit (Home Premium)

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

My Computer

OS
windows 7 home premium 64bit.
I would create a backup, and then move this backup onto a different hard-drive (external would be better) or a USB flash drive.

Go to Start > Computer > Right-Click the hard-drive with the problem > Properties > Tools tab > Error-Checking

Windows will then check for any hard-drive problems, and then try and repair these problems if possible.

Hope this helps,

Harry
