Hello friends, I'm facing a big problem. My laptop do not start.. :( :(

when I switch on my laptop, it loads and prompt me to enter Password.and I enter password and hit the enter button. Then it's showing 'welcome' text and nothing happen after that.I'm using Windows seven x64.

I tried to repair Windows installation using my Windows DVD. But it says that the windows DVD that I used is a different version than my windows(something loke that). Of course I used the same DVD. then I tried to run "Startup repair" (provide in Windows installation wizard). It says that it can't solve startup isues..

What shold I do.. I can go for a new instaltio of windows. But sadly I loose everything I have.. I do not have any Backup or System restore. :( :(

thank you in advanced...

You can copy out your files: Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console

If you can get into Safe Mode with networking, install, update and run a full scan with Malwarebytes

If not Download, burn to CD or write to flash stick, boot, update and run a full scan with Microsoft Standalone System Sweeper

Then from DVD Repair console System Recovery Options try System Restore as far back as necessary.

Next from Command Prompt run SFC -SCANNOW Run in Command Prompt at Boot.

If Win7 still won't start try Startup Repair again, or boot free Partition Wizard bootable CD
make sure Sys Reserved boot partition or Win7 partition is marked Active, highlight HD, from Disk tab run Rebuild MBR.

If all fails copy out your files then run factory Recovery from its partition or disks you've made or order from manufacturer, or boot Installation DVD to Clean Reinstall Windows 7

and Gregrocker has a valid point there, it's very likely a malware issue.

See if you can now boot into Safe Mode with Networking to install, update and run Malwarebytes
and then SFC -SCANNOW Command

You'll need to burn an Installation DVD or Repair CD for your correct bit-version (32- or 64-bit) to run SFC from Command line if necessary. I would also try Startup Repair and System Restore.

Until you can get the correct DVD/Repair CD, try rebooting and tapping the F8 key to see if the Repair console is on Advanced Boot Options menu to run SFC from Command Line, Startup Repair and System Restore.

I have the same DVD that I used to install Windows. I think this version problem happens because I updated the system after installation.. I tried every way you mentioned above.. Is there anyway to solve this by logging into laptop using Linux live CD.?

Are you selecting "Repair My Computer" on the second screen after booting DVD?

If so and error continues, find a Win7 machine of the same bit version to burn a Repair CD, or download to burn to CD and boot a Win7 REpair CD for your version: Download Windows 7 System Recovery Discs — The NeoSmart Files

As given earlier you also can boot Partition Wizard bootable CD to choose HD and from Disk tab "Rebuild MBR."

If Win7 won't start then use Startup Repair. It should automate System File Checker but if necesary run it separately from Command Line to be sure.

It's possible rebuilding the MBR can start Win7. It will be one of the many tests/fixes tried by Startup Repair.

I downloaded the Sin 7 startup repair DVD and triedtorun sfs /scannow.it always says that "there is a system reapair pending which requires reboot tocomplete. Restart windows and run sfc again"

nothings gonna work... :cry::cry::cry::cry:

Then reboot and try it again.

Then try running Startup Repair repeatedly. Report back results.

Does the CD find an installation to Repair once you boot into it?

yeah.. it can find the installation. I tried to run Startup Repair many times, but it keep saying that it can't find any errors and make sure I have removed recently added hardwares.. :(
