Hi Everyone,
I have a piece of test equipment run by a custom built PC that runs Windows Embedded Standard 7. I currently either have another software issue I haven't identified yet or the CPU is glitching/failing. The CPU is an Intel Atom N450 @ 1.66 Ghz. The SSD has been previously ruled out and the memory test comes back clean. I haven't run a CPU test yet, need to find a good test app. Suggestions?
What's happening now is when I boot into WSE7 I have to run sfc /scannow. It needs to be run twice as it won't fix the errors found after the first run. SFCfix finds no errors when SFC fails to fix things. Once the errors are repaired if I shut down and restart the exact same errors return and it's a repeat as before. I looked at the CBS log and it's the exact same files being restored when running SFC.
Thoughts/Suggestions? I did make a copy of the CBS log entries after running it immediately after booting into windows so I know what is being fixed when it runs. I would like to possibly correct the protected system file corruption, if that's the problem. That was what the last fix was but I'm not sure what to do this time around.
I can't attach the log I have, limit is 1MB, file size is 1.28MB. How do I get that data here? Link to Dropbox?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
