Hello.

My computer is running Windows 7 Ultimate x32 and in the past weeks I had some problems with Windows Explorer that frequently crashes.

First it was happening randomly, while watching a movie or playing an RPG game. In the last two weeks the problem started to occur only when I try to copy or move files into a folder.

Let’s say that we have folder A and folder B. Folder A has some .mp3 files that I want to move in folder B. I go in folder A, select the items, apple the copy or cut functions and then attempt to double click on folder B to open it. The folder is not opening and Windows Explorer crashes immediately. After some seconds the process restarts, but if I try to move the items again it crashes.

I tried restarting Windows 7, but the problem was fixed only on the third restart of the system. After that day I did not had problems with the crashes for around five days.

The problem is the same but it got fixed after the fifth restart or so.

It is indeed annoying and if you know something about it, I will appreciate any attempts of help. If you want more information, just ask. I tried to keep the post as short as possible.

Thanks.

It's done. File is below. I had to make it .rar because white trying to attach it was saying that the extension is invalid.

Select the Explorer tab under Autoruns.. and uncheck all the items thats highlighted in YELLOW... There are lots of it.... this is caused due to improper uninstallation.
Mainly PfMenu (IObit protected folder.... this could be the main culprit) and SafeboxContext (Bitdefeder)

Do these and restart your system..

Then try copying and let me know if it fails again
