SYSTEM INFO:
Windows 7, standard user account, Windows update activated, I have "Restore system" turned off.

PROBLEM:
Hello, I do not know what I deleted/changed/clicked on, but, starting a few days ago whenever I start a search for something, using Windows explorer (F3, enter search term, press enter) I get only the basic results. Under them, where it says "Search again in: Libraries / Computer, etc." I can select the "Computer" button but nothing happens when I click on it. If I click on "Custom..." and select a location(s) and click OK it does nothing (the new little window just closes and I'm back to the basic search results).

I haven't installed any new program in several weeks.

I tried to rebuild the index but it didn't help. I also have restarted the computer several times.

Thank you for your help.

Locate32, I use it, lightening fast search, simple GUI, you have to update database(s) manually, but that's only 2 clicks.

I use it in conjunction with AutoHotkey to search my 400k repository of cat, mum, and manifests.
