Windows Explorer: View short date only

In the details view in Windows Exolorer, Is it possible to view the short date only (e.g. 5/25/2015) without the time being displayed?

Sure, you can remove any of the columns you don't want:

I don't want to remove the date column. I just want the short date to be displayed (e.g. 5/25/2015) in the date column, not the long date with the time (e.g. 5/25/2015 2:16 PM).

I don't believe you can do that at all, and definitely not in Windows Explorer. Maybe a third part file explorer like Q-Dir or similar can.
