Hello, all.
My issue is that basically when I open any Windows games such as Solitare or Minesweeper, for example, they crash after a second or so, with no error. They just disappear.
This occurs on both my laptop running 32-bit Windows 7 SP1, and my desktop running 64-bit Windows 7 SP1. When I system restored my desktop to two days ago, the games worked again. This is not an option for the laptop, however.
All of my drivers, DirectX, and Windows are up-to-date on both machines. As a sidenote, I have Steam installed on the desktop, and games that run on Valve's source engine crashed in the same way, prior to the System Restore.
If anyone could shed some light on my problem, it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Tom.
