Windows is not genuine

Okay, here's the rub. I bought an original disk of Windows 7 Home Premium. The reason why I bought the disk is to repair a blue error screen which is already solved. Now, I've been on to several times of reformat, then format again my PC. All those times I still don't have problems activating the product key which is found on the back part of the CD case. Then one time when I tried to type the product key, the computer says that It's not valid or something because it is not allowed on my region. Then I re-checked the product key I typed if it was wrong but I was correct in typing the product key. It says on the CD case that its distributed only on the southeast asia region(SEA). I'm in southeast asia so why I get the problem of not activating my windows. This sucks because I spent a lot of money just to buy that one CD for a genuine copy of Windows.

Not sure about the region thing, but you may have tripped an anti piracy measure by reinstalling it too often.

You can only install and activate a retail copy so many times before it'll be blocked. After a while it begins to look like you are trying to pirate it.

I don't know the exact numbers but it's like 2 times in 6 months or something along those lines. So for more normal caeses you can reinstall it once every 6 months say and never run into it, but if you've reinstalled 3, 4 or more times in the last month then you'll have to call MS at the number given and explain the situation to get that number working again.

It looks like it was never actually activated?

It says "Grace time has expired" which is why it is asking you to validate now.

You do have 3 "re-arms" left. meaning you can reset it three more times for a month each so you can continue to use your computer until you can get it straightened out with microsoft...

I believe that tis page should get you rearmed so you can get back to ysing your machine right away (for another 30 days)

--- yes it does say to validate it but the thing is I can't validate with the serial number I have in the box because it says that the region is for southeast asia only but I'm on southeast Asia. And may I have further explanation regarding that grace time please? :] thank you so much .. :D

The mgadiag report shows a system builder license type and the installed key is not the default key. So the required product key has been inputted (the partial key is visible) but for some reason (perhaps the region restriction) windows thinks its a trial key or a nonsense key, hence the system is in notification state. You need to call MS, here are the numbers.

Yes, I think the OP should check his timezone settings. In fact the mgadiag report shows "Pacific Standard time" i just checked and SE Asia doesnt seem to follow Pacific time.
