windows live mail 2011 - private folders disappeared

4 days ago i discovered that all my private email folders ( about 30 folders ) that i created, disappeared.

Since i backup my computer weekly i tried to recover to a previous system time before the folders disappeared. Unfortunately the recovery failed due a file error and i was suggested to remove my antivirus and try to recover again which i did but with the same result!

I do have a system repair disc. Is there a proper solution using this disc or you may have another option?

Hello and welcome Joseph mate have you tried these yet

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/433-disk-check.html < if necessary include the /f and /r in the command line as per Option2
Run these in safe mode and the sfc often best run for two to three runs – you can leave out the /r switch in ckdsk if you feel it not necessary
NB SFC best run for about three scans

Run these if you haven't because it may correct some corruption on the drive.
