Windows Live Mail 2011

When I logged in Windows Live Mail 2011 it stated that I have 2 new email messages.

Only 1 email was directly sent to my inbox.

How do I retrieve the missing emails as this has never happened before.

Might be a daft question DD but did it go to the junk mail?

If not and you know who it may be from type the senders name in the search box at the top when you are in that inbox.

Yes there was nothing in the junk mail and the email did not appear via search box

Could be a false notification I suppose and maybe your security is or has blocked it.

The sender of the other mail maybe have sent it twice thinking it had not gone the first time but I am purely speculating here - if it is someone you know you could check with them?

Other than that I am not sure how you find stuff like that out. Sorry I could not be of more help.

Can we assume you read the 1 email, have logged out and back in again, and still show 1 unread email? A Guy
