Solved Windows Live Mail has encountered a problem

I am not able to use reply or forward for any emails - an error message shows up after clicking on either command. "Windows Live Mail has encountered a problem: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." I tried the repair Windows Live Essentials through Control Panel. The repair completed but the problem continues. Anyone know a fix for this problem?

Try creating a new email profile in Windows Live Mail:
1. Turn off synchronization in your current email profile (so it will quit checking for new email).
2. Create a new email profile.

See if the new profile works successfully.
