Windows live mail

I've got a couple of problems with livemail.... I am using windows 7, fairly new at it, upgraded from xp

(1)I have some mail that will come in but won't show...unless I click on "show all emails" then I can see it
If it's there, why can't I find it in the regular emails?

(2)Also, the message rules don't work or they put my mail someplace that I can't find it... is there a step by step manual for live mail so I can get it straightened out? I had outlook express in xp and had no trouble at all

(3) I also read somewhere that windows live mail has a bug and that you can hit repair and get it fixed... well, I can't find where that is even located.

Hope someone can help me as I am ready to tear my hair out.... thanks bunches.... oh, you are reading a message from a granny so don't make the answer to "techie"...

To repair W lM
Go to control panel
Program and features
Look for windows live essentials and double click it
It will ask you to uninstall or repair
You pick repair
Once it says it is done close all programs and restart the computer even if it does not say so
Once she reboots and you are back to the desktop open windows live mail and see if you are fixed
Windows live mail is a part of windows live essentials
