this email client will open your email whether you left or right click them...not good. I received a barrage of emails from half the world in different languages the other day...something like over 1400. The way Windows Live Mail is set up there's a left hand column that shows you the emails you have or have come in. If you right click it shows up in a pane to the right. Ditto if you left click them. I didn't want to open any of those bogus emails but had to left click to select the first one by holding down the shift key, scrolling down several hundred and click on the last one and hit delete. Still, it must have opened that first one.

I continued to get some more of that junk yesterday...about 40 emails, deleted them. Today just sporadic here and there around 5-6. I called Comcast(Xfinity) to get them off their server which they did. I just don't kike the idea of not being able to delete one or one hundred emails without it showing in the right pane. This is what it looks like.

That has little relevance to the problem. I have the same email client on a Vista computer downstairs and it doesn't look like this.
