Windows live messenger 'show what im listening to'

Think this is the right place for this thread. But anyways, im trying to get that to work but im having no luck at all. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling both windows media player 12 and the latest live messenger but it hasnt made any difference.

Does anyone know what could be causing it not to work because im totally stuck

IF u want 2 show what u r listining 2 follow this
Open ur Windows messenger
Tools
option
Personal
Mark the(show songs information from windows media player ..etc)
go to windows media player
Organize
option
Plugins
from the left choose backgroung
then mark windows live messenger music plugin
apply
enjoy
