Windows Live Writer appcrash on mscorwks.dll - Is there fix for this?

This has happened with quite a many apps so I am thinking it has to do with the DLL. Is there a fix for this or some way to fix the DLL or reinstall this DLL with its original package (Microsofts package that this DLL is part of)?
