windows media player 12 animated eq missing

I have windows 7 ultimate and dissapointed in the wmp 12 look and wanted to know why the animated eq is not on the left bottom when a song is playing like it was in wmp 11 ? Is there a hiiden option somewhere by any chance to activate the animated eq ?

Right click screen, choose visualizations, then bars and waves and then finally select one of the four to suit you.

Hi, that's not the question im talking about..Im talking about on the left corner of the bottom of wmp11 where the red arrow is pointing and to the left of where it says ruben blades..Is there anyway to install or a hidden feature somewhere in the reg for that animated eq to appear again ? It had it in wmp 11 but it dont have it on wmp 12, so im thinking is a hidden feature..Any auggestions ?

Well i guess there aint no way then, which i could switch back to wmp 11 :-(

Yeah you cant change that. If you want wmp11 then you can by doing stuff like THIS

A word of warning though it could damage your windows 7 so its up to you. A safer route is to either make do with wmp12 or find a different media player like foobar, winamp etc

Thanks for the link, didnt know you could install wmp 11 until now, hopefully microsoft will come out with a better version of wmp12 soon..
