Hi,
I recently purchased a new Samsung SSD for my machine and not wanting to do a fresh install of Windows due to the large amount of data on my system, I used Paragon Migrate OS to SSD to move my OS over to the SSD. The process completed successfully, and I changed some registry settings so that all the user data was on my HDD, not the SSD. This also completed successfully, but I started experiencing several different bugs with WMP.
WMP doesn't seem to be saving its library properly, as everytime I restart my computer and open it, it has to rescan for its files, which takes quite a while and is very annoying, the library also seems to be duplicating itself sometimes, as it randomly adds 2 of every song, a restart of WMP fixes this, but it has to scan for music all over again. I am also unable to add music to the libaray by simply dragging and dropping the folder containing the music onto the window, I have to manually select the files themselves inside the folder instead.
I've tried deleting the WMP library files and tried reinstalling it via the "Turn Windows Features On or Off" feature, neither of which have fixed it.
Any help with this problem that doesn't involve a fresh Windows install would be much appreciated.
