Windows only boots with a black screen

Hey Guys and Girls,

Im having a little problem with my PC. I accidentally knocked out the power chord in the PC and when i turned it back on, it came up with " System Repair". I ran that a few times but it keeps getting stuck on a black screen. Sometimes it runs the repair but fails miserably! but most of the time it just stays with a black screen.

What should i do? I pressed F8 whilst it was booting but no matter what i click, be it safe mode etc.. ) it still stays BLACK

Please Help :O lol its my Boyfriends PC and he wont be happy to see it dead wen he comes home from work :\

You need to get an installation disc and repair it that way. Simply choose F2 or F12 when booting and select to boot from DVD drive.
Dont let your boyfriend be upset about this. We can fix it here and accidents happen.
