Hello, all, I hope you guys aren't as cold as me today lol.

Anyways, I know I'm not very active around here, but that's about to change. I am currently attending college to become NetAdmin (hopefully, if I pass), and I have decided that I'm a little more of an advanced user and that it's time I start doing some fine tuning on my laptop.

Currently, I'm playing with Windows Services using MSconfig in the run line, however, I do not have any information on what each individual service is, and Google and Wikipedia aren't really helping me out because the searches pull up thousands of pages of "Windows Service Packs", which is not what I'm looking for.

Maybe, if anybody here would like to fool with it, I'd like to keep this topic open and each time I come across a service I don't know about, maybe I could post that service in this topic and somebody could explain it to me? I don't want to mess anything up, and I know that changing these settings are dangerous to people who have no idea what they're doing (sorta like me).

Maybe a better idea than posting each service individually, somebody could point me towards some trustworthy documentation on the web, because that is a LONG list of services, and I'm sure it would become annoying to have to explain each one.

I appreciate your reading of this topic, and I hope I can find the information I'm looking for so I don't fry my computer lol.

Thanks!
