I thought I was clear 2 weeks ago. What you are asking is very different from the current implementation and it is not practical to support both in the same version. So I have to chose one implementation over the other. That's what I did. I chose the one that works correctly over the one that looks correct.

Hmm..? I am suggesting another solution. I am not suggesting you to support both versions, just asking if I can instead use the 1st & 3rd states of the button instead of 1st & 2nd... And yes, you were perfectly clear that you will not support both looks and funtionality, so I am suggesting something completely different =P
This is what I am refering to =P
Hmm...yeah...sticking with Ivo is the best thing to do because he creates such an awsome program ( that I cannot find an alternative to...I have used many...=P maybe all of them out there...I doubt it though...) But I do not think he will find a new way to control the start button very shortly (well...maybe...he was the one who created classic shell in the first place after all...) Hmm...I think that the simplest way of dealing with the start button for classic shell is to , instead of having just 1st & 2nd state, have 1st and 3rd... ( this would make it so that it would not change when the mouse hovers over it, and I do not use that state anyways... )
Maybe an option to switch between just 1st & 2nd state, 1st& 3rd, 2nd&3rd for the start button, would that be possible?

That makes no sense. It is Explorer that choses which image to show based on the button's state. None of that is controlled by my code.

If you are making a custom start button image, can't you just swap the 2nd and 3rd images?

Yes, sorry...you are right =P

Hmm... I've thought of this too, but then it would look kind of weird if the mouse were to hover over it and change to 3rd state.

- Oh well, I think I will leave this for now...Thanks For Your Time And Help Ivo!!! ^^
You are very helpful =P
- All's left is to change the icons =P ( hopefully I get this working ...)
- If there is any solution at all to this, I will post it...but for now...I'll leave it =P
