Windows update changed login settings

I updated my Window 7 Ultimate today, and now when my computer reboots, it stops at the login screen. It used to just boot into my desktop and bypass the login screen. This is annoying because I use my tablet's wifi to check on and access things on my computer. If I have to go back to the desk to login, it kind of defeats the entire "mobile" computing thing I had going.
Does anyone know how to change that setting? And why did Microsoft change it?

Yeah, it was weird---it appears that Windows update added 3 more accounts to my log in, which is why it started defaulting to the log in screen. I was not amused. I'd never seen those accounts before. So I deleted them. They weren't mine. And they weren't there just a day ago. I shut my computer down during thunderstorms, which we have a lot of. Almost every day lately. And they weren't there then. So...I'm not sure what that was all about---but it's back to normal now. So thank you!!
