Windows update error code 800736B3

CBS.zip is attached. can anyone help with this error code. I cannot run windows update. This error code 800736B3 is the result every time. I have ran cmd spf scan, I have ran the window repair tools. Nothing will do it. Can someone please help?

Hello and welcome tenlakes mate I see you have done the sfc and I would suggest you run this as well if you haven't already

just for another option you could run these they don't take long and will eliminate anything from that direction

ADW download from bleeping computer delete any rubbish found with the malware scans
(NB If one is running Kaspersky security it may rant about ADW - just ignore it or disable Kaspersky while the ADW is being used)

Sorry - unfortunately, we've not been too successful fixing this particular error message :(
Generally it appears to indicate fairly widespread registry corruption - and also prevents a repair install. ;(

let's see if I can see what's actually going on...

I need to have a look at your COMPONENTS registry hive

Please copy the C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS file (no extension) to your desktop and then compress it - upload the compressed file to your favoured fileshare site (preferably Dropbox or OneDrive) and post a link.
