bought new laptop in October all running fine on Windows 2010 Home and Business. updates ran about 10 days ago and internet and outlook stopped working, so I reversed all the updates and all was well. happened again overnight and again reversed everything.
now I have given up as I saw fix was due on 22/02/13 - but that hasn't fixed everything. IE is now fine, but outlook won't send or receive. have talked to ISP and nothing wrong with their end. so I try and reinstall everything but updates appear to load and then reverse out.

have spoken to microsoft - useless

only 2 of the updates aren't loading - any help ideas that don't involve me throwing laptop out the window and screaming?

Ah - the old 'repair pending' problem :)

Please try running the CheckSUR tool - I'm not sure whether it can cope with this error or not but if it can, it'll provide some good data, and may fix it.
