Hi,

I'm using Win 7 x64 and I've got a problem with KB2937610 and KB2972211 for a long time now.
Neither of them installs. Errorcode returned is 800B0100.
I tried a bit everything I normally do like installing the update directly from the knowledgebase but nothing seems to bite.
It looks like you have been succesful solving this for others so I hope you can help me.

Attached the CBS log folder. I had to remove some .cab files or it would have been to large but all log files are there.

I also run SFC /SCANNOW but that came up clean (no integrity violations).

Thank you in advance for your help

At first glance, this looked as if it was a candidate for a repair install - but it may not be that bad.
I think most of the file problems are related to a single update, so I'll try and post a fix some time tomorrow.

I've uploaded afile - krraa.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive

Please downloadand save it.

Right-click onthe downloaded file, and select Extract all…

Extract to thedefault location - which will create a new folder krraain the same place.

Open this folder- there should be two folders inside it (Manifests, and Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to thefolder

C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Andthe content of the manifestsfolder (.manifest files) into this folder:

C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Winsxs\Manifests

Nowrun the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Postthe new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.

Thank you Noel.

I have seen you do this magic before on this forum and that was the main reason that I dared to post here. Seems like most is fixed :D (only 6 files not fixed). See log files below.

Do I need to do more?

Thank you again Noel. Update KB2937610 installed today after running CheckSUR and KB2972211 already had installed yesterday.
Here are the last CheckSUR log and last CheckSUR.persist log which seem now error free to me:
View attachment 341343

The only strange thing is that I had to run CheckSUR twice. The first time, CheckSUR stopped and said that the Hotfix was not installed. I should have kept the logs but it said two files were missing. I recopied all files to the correct directory (nothing changed but who knows), ran CheckSUR again and got the above positive results.

If I ever am in Wales, I'll buy you a few beers.

The first run of CheckSUR hit a snag...
Code:
Cabinet C:\Windows\CheckSur\v1.0\windows6.1-servicing-x64-2jan13.cab was either not found or its signature was not valid. (2148098064)
Deleting.
Cabinet C:\Windows\CheckSur\v1.0\windows6.1-servicing-x64-5sep14.cab was either not found or its signature was not valid. (2148098064)
Deleting.
I suspect that this means that either three is a problem with the hard drive or a problem with RAM :(

You should run MEMTEST86++ and CHKDSK to see if they identify problems, and fix them if found.

Thx Noel. Ran Chkdsk not so long ago without errors. Will test Memtest86+. Suppose there is only one +? Can't find memtest86++ anywhere but did find memtest86+. Is there a separate forum for memory errors? Have some BSOD now and them and have suspected RAM for a long time but memtest86 without + gave no errors...
