The Package errors are still present - which means that despite what SFCFix claims, the registry substitutions didn't work.
We'll have to try it the long way around...

I've uploaded a file - csbaf.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive
Please download and save it.
Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract the contained file to your SFCFix location - which will create a SFCFix.txt file there.

Open the SFCFix location in Windows Explorer - and drag the SFCFix.txt file over onto the SFCFix.exe file - this should force SFCFix to run the file
It will create a new log file - please upload that.

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log

Now I'm confused :(
I don't see why that shouldn't have 'taken' properly - so we'd best do things the hard (manual) way, and see where the problem lies that way.

How familiar are you with Regedit?

Too bad. I am a novice at Regedit, but I am confident enough to try to use it (dangerous combination, I know).

Let's see what we can see another way, then - let's try this, so that I know what I'm fighting :)

Please open Regedit
Navigate to the
Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Component Based Servicing

.

Key and right-click on it
Select Export

Change the 'Save as type' to Registry Hive Files and name it NPCBS

Close Regedit!

Compress the file, and upload it to your reply.
I can than hopefully get the instructions right first time ;)

At last! - I finally figured it out...

Let's try it one more time...

Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…
Extract the contained file to your SFCFix location - which will create a SFCFix.txt file there.

It will create a new log file - please upload that.

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log

With luck and a following wind, that'll do it!

Now we just have to worry about the 'Missing Watchlist Component' entries.

I'll work on those now and see what I can do with them.

The SFC scan is now clear - and there are no errors in the background CBS data.

Do a Check for Updates, and install only the oldest update found - then reboot, and install the rest (assuming all goes well)

Good Luck!

Bad news, I tried installing KB2830477 and failed. Error code 8007054F. This was an optional update for windows 7 and was the oldest available. Any thoughts?

Hi again.

A bunch of updates rolled out 2 days ago and mostly installed without trouble. The Internet explorer security update is still failing, specifically KB2957689 with error code 8007054F. All of the security and updates for Windows 7 went fine. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Did KB2963950 install properly?
If so, then KB2957689 is not required - they are effectively the same update tweaked to allow for alternate starting-points.
