Solved windows update won't update

says checking for updates.... nothing else happens.

windows 7 pro, sp1.... Toshiba tecra R850 laptop.

Ive tried many tips on google, none seem to work. any ideas how to get the update to actually work and find updates? thanks.

Oh I did run windows update diagnostic. it found one error which explained nothing.

see your Dual booting with Apple.

W7 needs to be the primary OS.

run this, copy/paste output 5 min job.

not dual booting. I have a pc and mac, they are separate.

windows update works now. not sure why it stopped. since I had no important data on the computer, I did a factory reset. its installing 201 updates. thanks for the help appreciate it.
