Did a fresh install of win7 x64 and had the problem with windows update checking for update forever so decided to install updates via wsus offline installer

Wsus found and installed 210 updates and installed them then found another 28 but in the meantime window updater that i left running found 217 updates as well so now im installing the updates with windows updater and i'm not sure if that's the right thing to do?

Should i reinstall windows again and install updates only with wsus?
Or windows updater will skip the updates installed by wsus?

Not sure what to do now any advice please?

Hi Martini,
Nothing to worry about, normal windows updates allways performs an Update check to see if they have previously installed.
note was this AFTER you had rebooted from the WSUS install.

Yes during the wsus installation my computer restarted mamy times, after it finished installing these 210 updates i tried to install them again but wsus told me they all been installed already
so i've run again the update finder again and it found another 28 updates
but in the meantime windows updater found over 217 updates so i've installed them instead

Now window updater says theres no more updates for my computer and i'm installing all the software

I'm just worried there may be some stability issues later on with the system because of that
