I am working on my office computer which is on the company's domain, that means any number of users can login to the same system using there domain account, with every account there is a user profile that is associated with that account, however one of my co-colleauge successfully login using her domain account, however i do not see her user profile being created, i remember deleting her user profile from c:\users and from registry as well in the profile list a while ago..that means when the next time she will login, a new user profile should have been created, which obviously is not happening?

On top of that i don't see her profile as a temporary one..i am perplexed..:confused:

Yes, it is a roaming profile, and whenever she tries to log in it says " you are logged on with a default profile " , and we are witnessing this behaviour with every other user on my system that tries to log in for the first time..

Well the problem is not with the account but the system that i am using, well her profile was corrupt, therefore i deleted the profile and this is not the first time i have done this, i have successfully created new profiles after deleting and i am not sure what has gone wrong this time..and i will again stress that this is not an account related issue as there are other first time user that i have asked to login on my system and i see same behaviour with their account as well makes me belive that this is a system issue..

is it caused by temp profile issue? if so try this:

"
If you get Windows 7 Loading temporary profile for the user, or need to create a new profile for any other reason - please follow this:

Launch regedit on the affected PC using your admin account
Find: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList\<User_SID>

Remove the key with users name."

@mike009 Well i am aware of temporary profile issue and i am afraid that this is not what you are assuming or thinking, it never said that "user is logged on using a temporary profile" but "user is logged on using a default profile" and i have deleted every .bak file including the one of the affected users in the profile list...though that issue has been resolved as we have reimaged the machine, but i would like this thread to be open so that we can reach a solution...as there might be many more users who are/will be affected by this menace..would appreciate any help..
