I was merely pointing out that removing PUPs should not cause a problem with booting the system.
Also, MBAM is best installed and run in Normal Windows mode, in order to work correctly and completely.
Windows Safe Mode is really a "last resort".
And simply installing MBAM (especially the free version) would not cause a problem with booting, either.
RUNNING MBAM to remove malware might lead to issues, but only if the system is damaged by the malware or otherwise.
It sounds as if there may be significant malware and/or damage therefrom on the system.
Complete detection, removal and repair will likely require deep work, with multiple specialized tools.
Such work is best performed with expert guidance, to avoid further damaging the system and to ensure full removal/repair, as explained
here.
I would suggest either waiting here for one of our "local" malware removal experts, or seeking free assistance at one of the busy, reputable computer disinfection fora.
