Windows7 and Ready Boost

Yes, I know. Sorry about that. I am dealing with a customer issue right now, and I am not completely focused on your issue.

I am confident, however, that we have uncovered the cause of the problem, now how to fix it. The best option, solely in terms of allowing a self-correction, is to perform a clean install. During that install, if possible, delete all partitions, then create a new partition using the entire drive. Windows will automatically reserve the volume area BitLocker requires.

Is this feasible for you?

I cannot disable BitDefender, because I don’t have TPM.
Yes, have DVD’s for a clean reinstallation of Vista and Windows7. But I prefer to wait,
until the new binary for the Bitlocker Drive Prep tool comes out, having ReadyBoost is not an urgent matter for me.
