I can usually pinpoint minor issues, but I dont have a solution for this one yet, bringing it to the community to see if anyone knows or has encountered this issue..For a while now, I have noticed that SOMETIMES, when i start up my pc, and I get to the desktop..that instead of the "normal" way it starts, ...meaning , i can instantly move my mouse around..it now sometimes FREEZES my mouse for a LONG time!..sometimes more than 1-2 mins. EVERYTHING else is loaded up..no HDD light indicator, i have a "24 clock", from the TV show"24" running as a gadget , so i see the seconds changing.. My keyboard works ( although , sometime back the problem occured with BOTH my keyboard and mouse at startup)..i Have a logitech g9 mouse , which uses SETPOINT..so i figured it might be a conflict with setpoint, so i disabled it from startup, and still the same problem.. so TODAY , since im able to use my keyboard when this happens, i hit CTRL , ALT, DEL and goto task manager, in task manager, i ended the winlogon.exe process, and it brought me to a logon screen, ( my mouse was already moving now btw), i clicked my account and logged back in , and all is working now...
does anyone know what the heck is happening here?
