winzip folder password lost

Hello

I need help zipped a folder with winzip and placed a password on it is there a way to get passed the password or to recover it please help

As far as I know, there is no way to unlock the .zip file without decrypting it i.e. entering the password.
There are some methods that try and guess passwords of .zip files, it may be an easy fix. Here's a website containing some programs that may help you out:

They are designed for hacking and cracking, but will hopefully do for your intentions :)

If that fails, the only way to get your files back is if you made a system restore, and you can restore Windows back before you encrypted.
Of course, someone else may have the knowledge to help you out more efficiently. So you won't have to consider a system restore (if you have a backup option) unless its the last option.
