Pretty much my internet connection only(barely) works in safe mode but even then I'd have to disconnect and reconnect it to run for a minute or so. In regular startup the connection goes straight to limited/or disconnected. All of my other devices/computers connected to the router works. I've tried everything from flushing my dns to downloading malware removers but I'm still not having any luck. Help?

1. Is this a wired or wireless connection issue?
Both

2. Who is your Internet Service Provider (ISP)?
Cogeco

3. What type of Broadband connection are you using?
Cable/Wireless Card

4. What is the exact Make and Model of your Modem, Router or Modem/Router Combo -
Linksys Technicolor DPC3848VM DOCSIS 3.0 Gateway

5. What is the Name of the Anti-Virus, Security or Firewall Software

I did have McCafe, but I just recently uninstalled it but no luck still. I've tried disabling and re-enabling my firewall as well but no success.

Hello and welcome kkeo7 mate please follow this first before we can get anywhere
Now before we can help we do need to know what is in your machine so please do this System Info - See Your System Specs
or either enter the specs of your system in your forum profile the specs will appear when we click on that little box bottom left of the post screen it is for me the preferable option as it is easy. As you may appreciate it is very hard when you don’t know what one is working with for example a diesel or petrol engine.
*(pretyped to save time)

Now please post using black text as it is quite hard to see what the lime green text is saying.

However I have to ask did you uninstall MuckAfee using the dedicated uninstall tool? If not then I think it might be an idea to run it now because if you did it manually there may still be traces of it left in the registry.
https://service.mcafee.com/webcente...&showHeader=false&_adf.ctrl-state=vs6rdwm7o_4 < you need to go to the download link in this page.

Lastly if you can get into safe mode please run these
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
Disk Check < if necessary include the /f switch and if this does not make any improvement then just run this switch instead /r in the command line as per Option2
Run these in safe mode and the sfc often best run for two to three runs – you can leave out the /r switch in ckdsk if you feel it not necessary

But we need the system specs!

Hmm probably some update or add on stuff that came with a program/software you installed.

If you want to stop that happening again if indeed that is what it was then just install this I use it on all my machines.
Unchecky - Keeps your checkboxes clear
