I have a toshiba satellite m35x, with an intel(R) pro/wireless 2200BG adapter, when I installed Win 7, I tried to connect to a wireless connection, but the adapter does not appear anywhere in windows 7, not even in the device manager. I have installed all the drivers and fixing tool, and still I cant find the adapter. It works fine if I boot back using Windows XP, any help? thanks

I already fixed the problem, I downloaded the drivers for xp, from the intel website. Then extract the drivers to the desktop. Open the device manager and go where it says "other devices." On there right click the option named as "network controller" and click "update driver software". when the window appear go to "browse my computer for driver software", on the browse box search where you extracted the drivers, in this case the desktop, wait until the installation is done and your wirelless adapter will apear!

Heya, same problem here, using a Linksys wireless n adapter (wusb600n)
it says that the hardware didnt install properly and wont let me use it.
It works just fine when i switch back to xp. and its just not worth using on vista. (cause of the 60 second scan for better connections creating massive lag issue)

any help on this would be greatly appreciated, will continue searching the forums to see if i missed a solution.

Hello,

Windows 7 update did solve some problems for me regarding drivers for 915 GAG onboard graphic driver. LAN adapter driver was installed during windows 7 installation itself.
